Transwhatever. Allyship Workshop @ Familljen-Center
“Allyship – A Stance Without Applause” is a practical workshop that shows people how they can support diversity in a spirit of solidarity without overlooking marginalised individuals, draining resources or unintentionally reinforcing power dynamics.
The focus is on the idea that allyship is an attitude and a commitment to diversity – not a label or a stage. Participants learn how to make space rather than take it up, what genuine support looks like, and what risks arise when well-meaning help turns into substitution or profit.
Diversity encompasses, on the one hand, human diversity, and on the other, making resources accessible to marginalised people to empower them to advocate effectively for their own interests.
Diversity encompasses, on the one hand, the spectrum of human differences – such as gender, skin colour, physical and mental abilities, or age. On the other hand, it involves providing resources to marginalised people so that they are empowered to effectively advocate for their own concerns.
The workshop combines brief insights into typical issues (e.g. resource displacement, performative allyship) with positive examples, such as organisations that consciously make space, donate fees or pass on donations. Through short reflection and scenario exercises, participants develop concrete ways in which supportive behaviour can be discreet, show solidarity and be power-conscious.
For whom: Anyone interested in the topic of allyship

Ways of Looking. Writing workshop @ Casino

A two-day creative writing workshop curated by author Aga Lesiewicz
Ways of Looking is a two-day creative writing workshop that treats contemporary art as a narrative system rather than a subject to describe. Instead of focusing on interpretation, the workshop asks how we look, what we notice, what we ignore, and how these choices influence the stories we tell.
Through a combination of practical teaching, guided looking, and writing exercises, participants develop short fictional texts that respond to the gallery environment as a source of inspiration.
Open to all levels, the sessions focus on how attention and perception shape storytelling. No prior knowledge of creative writing or art theory is required — curiosity and attentiveness are our tools!
Aga Lesiewicz is a writer, screenwriter, and creative-writing mentor working across fiction, film, and cross-disciplinary narrative practices.
Alongside her literary work, she has an extensive background in screenwriting and narrative development for film, television, and radio. She regularly leads creative-writing workshops and retreats across Europe, working with participants at different stages of their writing practice.
Her workshops blend rigorous craft with experimental methods, often drawing on visual art and everyday observation to expand how fiction is generated and experienced.

Light Leaks Festival @ Rotondes
© photo : Viktor Wittal
From May 14 to 17, 2026, the Light Leaks Festival returns to Rotondes for its 10th edition, a special milestone that invites both celebration and reflection.
Since its creation in 2016, the festival has followed an evolving path. What began as a platform dedicated to urban photography has gradually expanded to embrace documentary practices and more experimental approaches that question the nature of the photographic medium itself.
Over the years, Light Leaks has welcomed outstanding international photographers whose presence has left lasting memories and meaningful insights, helping to inspire a new generation of image-makers. Each May, this gathering continues to nurture dialogue, curiosity and creative exchange.
From the beginning, the public has been at the heart of the festival. Visitors are invited not only to experience exhibitions, but also to actively engage through workshops, talks, portfolio reviews, and direct encounters with the invited artists.
This anniversary edition remains true to that spirit, bringing together a new selection of compelling voices navigating between boldness, reflection and sensitivity. In urban and documentary photography, there is room for countless ways of seeing, from storytelling rooted in reality to critical explorations of the image itself.

Free and open to the public, everyone is invited to join and engage in these communal and interactive gatherings and expand their museum experience!
This time, Mudam collaborates with the Rainbow Center (Rosa Lëtzebuerg) to host an engaging and thought-provoking Queer Quiz. This event invites participants to explore a wide range of topics in a setting that is both stimulating and convivial.
The quiz has five rounds, each composed of questions designed to challenge and inspire you. Participants will navigate general culture, revisit key moments in queer history, engaging with influential figures and movements in queer culture and art.
A special round will focus on the museum’s current Simon Fujiwara’s and Ighsaan Adams’s exhibitions.
Whether you join individually or as part of a team, the Queer Quiz offers you an opportunity to learn, exchange and connect. No prior expertise is required – only curiosity and an open mind.
