Och bei eis leeft et – Queer Perspectives on Menstruation
Round Table @ Lëtzebuerg City Museum
Menstruation is often still regarded by many as a purely women's issue – and that very consciously in the context of heterosexual reproduction. Yet this framing renders the experiences of queer women, trans and intersex people invisible.
The Luxembourg City Museum, Rosa Luxemburg and Méi Wéi Sex therefore invite you to a round table discussion entitled ‘Och bei eis leeft et – Queer Perspectives on Menstruation.’ The team from Mehr als Sex and Rosa Luxemburg want to take their guests on a journey through queer menstrual experiences. The discussion will be recorded and then broadcast on Radio ARA and on the platforms of Méi Wéi Sex.
Location: Lëtzebuerg City Museum | 14, rue du Saint-Esprit | 1475 Luxembourg
Registration required, Free admission

Azerbaijan, Europe’s worst country for LGBTI+ Rights?
Conference & Drag Show @ Rainbow Center
Join us for a drag performance and conference on Europe's worst country for LGBTI+ rights, on June 13th from 3PM to 5PM at the Rainbow Center!
Located on the boundary between Eastern Europe and Western Asia, Azerbaijan ranks as one of Europe’s worst countries for the legal rights of LGBTI people, according to the annual Rainbow Map by ILGA-Europe for nearly a decade. Despite the decriminalization of homosexuality over 20 years ago, the country still lacks adequate legal protections, social support systems, and state safeguards for LGBTI individuals. Alongside rising hate crimes, police raids and other forms of repression continue to be reported.
This conference aims to amplify the voices of the community and raise awareness about the situation in the country. It is co-organized by Rosa Lëtzebuerg and Amnesty Luxembourg.
The event will feature human rights expert and writer Hamida Giyasbayli as a guest speaker, as well as an Azerbaijani cultural drag performer. It will be moderated by Azerbaijani LGBTI+ advocate and multimedia journalist Alex Shah, intern at the Rainbow Center, and Esmeralda Wirtz, Mobilization Officer at Amnesty Luxembourg.
Location: Rainbow Center | 19 rue du Saint Esprit | 1475 Luxembourg

Opening: Common Ground.
Triennale Jeune Création, Luxembourg et Grande Région, 6th edition @ Rotondes
© Jessica Theis
Since its first edition in 2007, the Triennale has been a key event for highlighting new generations of artists in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Designed as both a platform for visibility and a space for exchange, the event actively contributes to the reach and dynamism of the local and international art scene.
For this 6th edition, Rotondes has asked La Concierge to choose the exhibition’s theme, select the participants, and imagine a scenography that will showcase the vision of the selected artists.
Titled Common Ground, the collective exhibition invites artists to explore the politics of visibility, cultural expression, and collective experience, drawing inspiration from the underground nightlife scene.
