Join the picket, sanctions on Israel Protest @ Chambre des députés
On July 2nd, sanctions against Israeli war crimes will be debated in parliament. Meet us at 8 am in front of the Chambre of Deputies in the city to protest and demand that the government take concrete action to stop Israel’s impunity. Over a year ago, the International Criminal Court called it a genocide and after nearly two years of witnessing it on our screens it is time for Luxembourg to stand on the right side of history.

Artful flow: Yoga at the Pyramid @ Mudam

Need a break to reset and recharge at lunchtime? Sportunity – a social initiative making sport available for all – invites you to Artful Flow, a new series of free outdoor yoga sessions at Mudam. Each session takes place in the peaceful green space beside Mudam, in front of Agnes Denes’ The Living Pyramid. As part of the Luxembourg Urban Garden summer, this programme bridges the museum, local communities and environment, in a practice that engages the body and the mind. It is the perfect opportunity to stretch, breathe and reconnect with yourself while surrounded by art and nature.
Julien will guide you through each session. Having left the corporate world, he undertook immersive yoga training in Portugal and India. With a holistic approach that blends Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin and the healing wisdom of Ayurveda, Julien’s classes are designed to restore balance, deepen self-awareness and foster lasting well-being. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, you’ll be welcomed into an inclusive, accessible space where everyone can move and grow at their own pace.
Artful Flow aims to make yoga practice more accessible and enjoyable in unexpected places – even at the heart of the city. No special gear is required, but your outfit should be comfortable so your movements can flow smoothly. If practising directly on the grass feels a little daunting, feel free to bring your own yoga mat for extra comfort. And on sunny days, don’t forget your sunscreen.
In case of cold or rainy weather, the session will be cancelled.

Fête de fin de saison @ KULTURFABRIK
End of the season party - let's get this party ended!
The ‘braderie urbaine’ has been transformed! On 5 July from 3pm, a festive and varied programme will delight young and old alike! On the programme this year: games, concerts, circus, workshops, percussion, zany rides...
Join us for a free, festive day at the Kulturfabrik!
In the courtyard from 15h until 20h, wooden and board games will be available to the public all day long. Ideal for a relaxing break while playing a wild game of cards.
At 15h30 and 17h30, the "balade zinzin" (“a zany stroll”) with Maxime Le Moing will take place. Between the lecherous flies, the lichens that think they're whales and the butterflies that snore, follow Maxime, the nature guide who's into eccentric naturalism. A great listener and walker, he'll introduce you to a funny and surprisingly real world of sound in the echokufasystem!
From 16h to 17h there will be a workshop for making your own percussion instruments from recycled materials under the supervision of musician Lorenzo Mena.
Between 16h and 19h, Thierry Blanchard will draw portraits that are somewhat close to reality.
At 16h and 10h, the unique duo Clap Clap Circo will combine comedy and hula hooping in the show BORSKA. The strong personalities of the two characters, their artistic originality and their particular aesthetic make this show unique.
A dancefloor named Coco boum boum will be open from 16h30 to 17h30, followed by a concert by Lorenzo Mena - pipes & buckets drummer - at 18h on the outdoor stage. This concert, full of energy, improvisation, unique sounds and melodic rhythms, will take you on a journey through different worlds of sound.
Finally, the evening will close with an acoustic encounter featuring a trio of singers: Eva, Karma & Maehila, 3 young women from Luxembourg with different aesthetics, revisiting their songs with a gentle touch; and a techno live by MARTA, in a minimal and progressive experience. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Floating Point and Max Cooper, MARTA explores the unique combination of violin, drums and sophisticated sound effects.

Pride Equality March and Street Fest
© Rosa Lëtzebuerg
The Street Fest, which has been the highlight of Luxembourg’s LGBTIQ+ Community since 1999, will again be held on two days this year: on Friday and Saturday, 11 and 12 July 2025.
Of course, there will also be a parade: the Equality March, which has been part of the Luxembourg Pride programme since 2015. This will take place again on Saturday 12 July 2025 – make sure you’re there to see it all happen.
For many years, the most popular part of Pride Week has been the street festival, which combines political topics with queer culture. We see the street festival as an invitation to the whole of society to celebrate the colourful diversity of living together with us. We will celebrate diversity in all its forms on one stage on Friday and two on Saturday. The City Hall Stage will showcase a whole variety of artists, speeches and performances, while the Village Stage is dedicated to the power of electronic music!
On Friday July 11, we kick off the Street Festival Weekend with gorgeous drag stars such as Madame Yoko and DJ Bambi Mercury. Rules of this Game, who rocked the City Hall Stage in 2024, will pay us a visit again this year. Finally, Alle Farben will set the whole place on fire and we will end the evening with DJ José Sanchez.
On Saturday July 12, the Village Stage will not only be home to local DJs, such as DJ José Sanchez, DJ Pippa and DJ Miss Sappho and Dance Divine, but we will also host international DJs like Crystal O. The City Hall Stage will welcome local artists such as Hugo One and Adriano Selva, formerly known as CHAILD. This line-up is further completed by our talented Luxembourg drag artists and performers, with the FADA’s Family and Delux Showgirls making their yearly tribute. Finally the festival will host international sensation Kai Iden.

From the evening sky, we will descend to a darkened auditorium, where myths are explored, disentangled and reborn. A soprano’s voice reaching for the stars – once lost to time – will rise from the ocean and be found in a vessel of memory. What does listening to the female voice do to the listener? And what does the embodied experience of singing do for the performer?
In this new lecture-performance, Egyptian-born, British-Sudanese curator, writer and poet Omar Kholeif, together with Dutch-American artist and educator Evi Vingerling, has devised a journey to retrieve women’s voices that have been lost to the past. Lubaina Himid and Magda Stawarska’s installation Zanzibar (1997–2023) acts as a springboard into the Dreamwork space.
Over the course of their convening, the duo will present live readings; trails of correspondence and poetry; and archival pictures, video clips and live songs that explore how the personal archive fashions collective memory.
The various shapes friendship may take are explored through tales of pirates and sirens, Aboriginal art and Dreaming, the smells of city streets from Lisbon to Sharjah, the loss of certain sensations and the realisation of others. To whom it may concern – to you, the audience – this is a ballad shared among women who choose to imagine the world otherwise.
Professor Omar Kholeif, PhD, is an award-winning author, artist and historian of visual culture – as well as the avatar of Doctor O – Pop Physician and the heteronym of several non-Portuguese poets. They are the founder and principal of artPost21, a not-for-profit cultural agency, publishing house and collection that explores art and culture at the margins of society. Since 2018, they have served as the director of collections and senior curator, Sharjah Art Foundation, UAE. They previously served as Manilow senior curator and director of global initiatives at the MCA Chicago; curator at Whitechapel Gallery, London; senior curator of Cornerhouse, Manchester and FACT, Liverpool. Longtime trustee and former programme director of SPACE, London, they are ambassador for Mental Health Research UK and visiting research professor at the School of Arts & the Creative industries at MIMA Research Institute, Teesside University, UK.
Evi Vingerling lives and works in the Netherlands. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and former resident at the Rijksakademie, she received the Royal Award for Modern Painting in 2012. Her work is represented in numerous public and private collections worldwide. Her two-person exhibition, Light on Things, with Katja Mater, developed in dialogue with Kholeif's poetry, is on view until 26 October at Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd, Utrecht, organized by Utrecht Centraal Museum and the Hartwig Art Foundation.
